Water Leaks
Hello all! My mom and I took are Argosy for a short close to home trip to check everything before going on a longer trip from home. We have noticed a couple of water leaks and need some help on fixing the problems. First one is that we have a leak of the right back corner, when the shower is running, has anyone every had to caulk the shower or is it a bigger problem than that, maybe the faucet? The sewer hose has a small leak, I have added the adapter to connect the newer hoses, any ideas? Next leak my mom found this morning is coming for the compartment of the water heater, when we purchased it the water heater has been converted into electric so it is not gas any longer... Any help greatly appreciated. For the shower/sewer leak do I need to drop the belly pan, and bottom sheets, and if so can someone tell me the size of the rivots I need to replace the bottom sheets if I have to take them down.

1. Is the shower leaking from the belly pan?
2. For the hot water heater, is the leak a plumbing line, a connection or from the water heater itself?
3.If the plumbing is original it is probably copper which is prone to freeze damage.
4. 3/16 or 1/4" aluminum blind rivets wiith oversize heads (maybe)

The original pipes in my 73 Argosy were burst in numerous places. Shower leak sounds like a connection issue (may be as simple as tightening or replacing a washer) I ended up replacing all of my pipes.

There's a 'P' trap in the shower drain which might be broken. That would leak only when the shower is running. You would see cracks/breaks in the shower pan if that is the problem and you don't mention any such breaks. The belly pan (or parts of it) has to come off to get to the 'P' trap. Drill carefullywith the correct size drill so you don't need to go up a size in rivets when you replace.

Water Leaks
Thank y'all for the response. Do you happen to know what size rivets they are? Lumatic it is leaking underneath where the different seams of the belly pan are and the right back corner, if you are standing at the back looking at it...

There may be a removeable cover in the belly pan under the P trap

If the shower leaks only in use then more than likely it is the drain or areas that need to be caulked.
I would troubleshoot it first. Pressurize the water system, check for leaks. Pour a couple buckets down the drain, check for leaks. No leaks so far? Spray shower area, check for leaks. Make sure it is not getting on the floor or past the curtain.
I dropped my belly under the shower only to cut a hole for future access to the p-trap.

Three major sizes of rivet are used: 1/8" - Look at the rivets in the interior walls. They are 1/8". 5/32 slightly larger than 1/8" and usually used where the hole for 1/8" was opened up so they aren't something that I can say "Look at ...". Last, 3/16". These are often used to hang the belly pan to the frame and are obviously larger rivets compared to the interior ones.. Patches to the belly pan are often put in with 1/8".
