Hi - so, I have been reading the exchanges on the Caravel 65-68 forum - specifically on the Docboy entries about his 68. There seems to be a lot of resistance to adding a roof top unit. I bought a Dometic Penguin II, low-profile, 13,500 BTU unit. While surfing the forums, I read your entry from 2013 or 2014 - saying you were going to install a 13,500 BTU Dometic unit. I wondered how this worked for you and whether you felt the BTUs were too much for your trailer...yes, the question has been posed to me...the unit was recommended by the person who did the shell-off.
