New Xantrex

A few weeks ago my old buzzbox converter died. This after last year replacing the capacitor in it. Though I think the voltage rating of the cap was a little low.

Anyhoo, ordered a Xantrex and fuse panel. Yanked the old boat anchor, installed new converter and fuse panel. Rewired things to fit the new arrangement.

Power on for smoke test. Magic smoke stayed all inside. Now charging battery at 14.21 Volts. Will check in a few hours, see what the change is.

Like the quiet operation, even the faint hush of the fan cycling on and off.
