Take a look in the photo section titled: Argosy Trailers & Motorhomes and you will see my 1977 Argosy 6 Metre' Minuet.
I am almost done with it!
I am SO proud of my handy work!
Take a look and let me know what all of you think!
I still want to do a "Janet's Husband" rock guard installation!
Thanks!
I still want to get rid of the "Very Brady" orange countertop and tabletop.
I also want to do a stereo. Gotair2 has a factory stereo in his. It is installed on the endcap of the streetside OH cabinet. It looks REALLY cool.
I decided that I was not going to get up once my bed was made so I got those lights so I can a light on/off without getting out of bed.
Lou, that Minuet looks really nice. Good job on it! You know, with quality work like that, you'd almost think that a couple of Metro Detroit Airstream and Argosy enthusiasts could get together and start a restoration outfit.
Well done, and I hope to see the real thing some day soon! ( I can't make the rally because it coincides with our own camping trip.)
John,
I am still not done with it. I am going to paint it this fall. I figured that I will not camp in a trailer that does not have all of the mechanicals in good working order. I cannot stand camping with no water, or fridge, or bad axles, or hot water, etc....
I had given some thought about the restoration outfit. Then I realized that my hobby would become my job!
I am sure that a lot of us have been to the site listed below but I would like to encourage everyone to vist it at least once. Shawn has put a lot of work into this site. There are lots of pictures of all sorts of Argosys on his site. They are all broken down by year and type. http://www.argosytrailer.com/
