1973 Argosy 20' New Wheels

It looks like my trailer wheels have been replaced with the standard white trailer type wheel. The size of the tires are ST225/75 D 15 (H78-15).
I would like to back to a simple wheel (maybe powder coated) that I can put baby moon hub caps on.
Any help as to the size of the original wheel, or what would be best?

I can't help you on the wheel size, but I've painted those white trailer rims/wheels before and put some full moon hubcaps on them and they look pretty good. I got the caps from hubcap mikes: Smoothie Hubcaps, Baby Moon or Moon Hubcaps Wheel Covers Kustom Car Moons - $89 for a set of 4.

Both of our 77's had them as originals. I had our current trailer rims powder coated an almond color and it matches the original color and the trailer well.

inlandrv.com has the original wheels the came on the Argosy trailers. $49.99 each plus $$$$hipping. if you call they will quote shipping then I would shop around for the best price.

the zero off set is important or the tire will rub.

Inland's Part #: 11147

Wheel 2600 pound rated, 15 x 6 steel wheel, 6 lug on 5 1/2" bolt circle, zero offset, painted gray/silver. This wheel will fit all Airstream trailers with 12" brakes and 10" brakes with 6 lug hubs. These wheels have a 3.65" center bore.

Thankx Geo, I believe that's the info I was looking for, The moons won't fit on the current rims.
7728, do you have pics? We were thinking powder coat blue, but th almond sounds interesting.

I hope you can see the new paint, the pic was sort of small
It matches the paint pretty close
