Wow !

I knew acid could do bad things to the exterior but I guess its not good for the interior either.

Magnolia Pearl for sale

I have always thought that AS was lovely! Someone made it their own and that's cool, if you ask me. I also think it is one of the most pinned Airstreams on Pinterest so others must like it as well. It is certainly better than a Cruisette that has had a hatch installed in the side.

Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate all the work that was put into it.
I will say that at an Airstream rally you would have no trouble explaining which trailer was yours!

I would think that if there was any remaining hippies left they would love that trailer.

It is rather overwhelming, for me.It is too....much. Individual pieces I like. In the ranch house, I certainly liked the stove and refrigerator. I'm sure someone will like it and buy it. I can't imagine it going for asking price, however.

There are. I do. I know there are more of you out there. Time to come out of the closet.

It is not my cup of tea. But I am glad they did the trailer and the ranch. Art never pleases everyone.

I laughed till I cried on this one. Actually I admire the amount of work, perhaps it is the nouveau gypsy style. Buy it and charge admission at JC!

That trailer makes a good case for mandatory aesthetics, art & design classes in all public schools. While the designer may be creative, the trailer is not Art! And before someone suggests, "outsider art"….it's not that either.
That being said…what's the point of that (I want a has-mat suit) sink!

Who can say what is and what is not "Art" except maybe time?. Anyway I don't remember the creator claiming it to be art. Watch out, you could find this in the Smithsonian in 50 years as folk art. What about buses such as this Ken Kessey and the Merry Pranksters creation:
Google Image Result for http://images.tbd.com/commute/magictrip_further_courtesymagnoliapictures_606.jpg

What about buses, taxis and other transportation in South America and Asia.
What about car modification? And why would this not meet the definition of "outsider art" anyway?

The tow vehicle just makes it!

@Lumatic, it is certainly art and creative.

There is just so much fabric inside for me. Years ago I went to a rugger at a bazaar in Morrocco. It was unbelievable. Something about the heat, the close proximity of all the upholstery/carpets, etc made me gasp for air. That and the smell of jute! It would not be comfortable as a camper for me but, as a show piece, absolutely. It is pretty amazing. The filliform would be camouflaged!

It reminds me of a hippie chick I knew in 1969 ... Kinda wild, very free spirited ... Not someone to settle down into a traditional relationship.

I can appreciate all the work that would go into this, but not something to settle into a comfortable relationship with.

The Rolls is more questionable to me ... I can see making a hippie mobile out of it but 4wheel drive? Why not make a hippie mobile out of an SUV ?
