How does toilet (Thetford Slide-o-matic) & sink work on '65 Overlander
Hello!
Finally getting around to working on the toilet and plumbing on my '65 Overlander. I have some assistance from a retired plumber even! My toilet is the original stock Thetford Slide-o-matic. The foot flushing mechanism is pretty frozen up on this. We're starting to get things loosened up, but are wondering what activates the water to turn on and rinse the bowl? How can a person get this loosened up & working again after it has sat untouched for years? And we're looking at the back sink/tub area. How do you get access to the sink to work on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ben
