Electrowazoo

Regardless, I hate Mr. Checker except when he does something really funny and that makes it all worthwhile. I am not sure Mr. Checker has an imagination since he tries to make my more creative moments dull and ordinary. He is the bureaucrat in our “devices”.

So, who came up with calling all electronic items “devices”? Does that render the phrase “left to our own devices” somewhat askew? So I propose calling devices “electrowazoos”. It tells us that is is electrical and quite amazing in what it can do, even though I don’t understand about 85% of what it can do. But, remember, do not put your electrowazoo “up the old wazoo”.

Dare you to argue with the sublime beauty of that.

All I’ve got at this point are these two precious gems:

“I’m sorry you annoyed me”
And...
“You look like I need a drink”

Sally forth forum folks...

Obviously, Avery Short is responsible for all the posts you see on the Agreement Thread.

No, but he is related to both Helen Waite of the complaint department and her speed-demon daughter Helen Wheels.

Unsubscribing from this thread. Now that I have a fiancée whose feelings are easily hurt, I am devoting considerable effort to never arguing again, with anybody. Which is not to say that my charming bride-to-be and I can't disagree, only that from now on disagreement had better not lead to argument, if I want to stay engaged (and married, when the time comes).

But just between us, for a former engineer, not arguing is a lot harder than it looks!

Had a friend who worked for Consumer Reports. I says to him that must be a really interesting job. He replied "no it's terrible". Why? I asks him. Think about it says he. The personality type they hire at Consumer Reports is the one that nitpicks over every detail and finds fault with everything and everybody.

Congrats Protag. This is great news. Does she camp? If not, she's in for a pleasant surprise. Devote more time nurturing this relationship, than posting on forums. Time to buy a second kayak and bigger coffee pot. Sharing life with a loved one.....priceless. Yes, agreement has more pros than cons, when it comes to relationships

You just noticed? The only question is whether it is high school sophomoric or college sophomoric.
