That's the one and the same guy... IIRC it was originally $550 when I first tried back on 12/19. A couple days later it jumped to $2,550! Then on 01/19 it was $850, and - on post #155 (2/01/08) of this thread, I posted a link to his ad titled "1950 airstream 21' travel trailer - $850" , but in the body of the ad, he was only asking $675. That link is still active and takes you to the updated ad with the $1250 price! This guys a fruitcake. Maybe all the calls generated from forums members makes him think he's sitting on a gold mine?
I love the "it's all there" statements in advertisements.
I've bought some cars over the years that I've justified with the "but honey, "it's all there" comments.
Of course then after months of searching for the parts to finish it in Hemmings and then (thank the big guy) when the internet hit (I'm an early adopter out of necessity), buying parts cars just to get that "one" part I need yet to finish the one that was "all there", and walking swap meets in the rain or blistering heat after getting the DW up at 3 A.M. and driving three hours to get there, I finally after two years almost have the parts that should have been "all there" to complete the car, and someone makes an offer and the whole thing is gone. Shwoosh, out of our lives .
Of course this only happens because I found something else even neater, more rare, and fulfills even more of my dreams and the guy assures me and this time I'm positive "it's all there" .
Sigh

I am glad you posted this!!
When we found all the damage in the trailer we listed it immediately because we were very flustered with the thought of this trailer having issues. After talking with Airstream of Arkansas we decided to take it to them and have them fix it instead of selling. Had not gotten around to pulling the ad.

THanks again,

Steve, you need to obviously do what is right for your family - but I'm pleased to know that you are hanging on to the trailer. It seemed so right for you guys and hopefully with the repairs will give you many years of Airstreaming dreams fulfilled.

Ditto to that! I was so excited about the trailer for someone to have, that I guess I got a little carried away by drawing attention to it twice. Hope everything is fixed for you & you have a great time with it! It looks beautiful.
It's all original, except for that huge box on the back. And it's ready to go, but you shouldn't tow it. It's a great livable unit, if you fix the huge gaping gashes in the side from where we rolled it over...
For someone who is wanting a vintage TV to tow that old Airstream this would look pretty goshed darned good in my books. It would look like a 1964 Airstream advertisement jumped off the pages of a magazine and was heading down the highway.
