purman,
you''re right on..
My guess is the same, that there were two bears here.
One set of tracks looks to be adult size and, the other set is of a smaller, lighter cub?

Well I don't know if you think this is cold, but here in San Diego at the beach we woke up to 53. Put something on my arms, kept the shorts on because it should get up to 75 today. Life is good!! Tomorrow some of the same, just alittle warmer!

Well hey there all you Dudes and Dudettes up North, it got REAL COLD here in the Florida Panhandle tonight, clear down to 39 degrees! Might still get a little cooler before dawn. In an attempt to contibute to global warming, I built a big bonfire in the back yard, actually I had a lot of boxes and papers to burn and I waited until after dark to burn it all. Anyways, the wind was kinda blowing towards you all in the Faraway Northland so maybe by tomorrow night you'll start feeling the effects of my fire! Just trying to do what I can to help y'all out!

From being a former Maine-iac, I'd say all the SMART ONES have gone south. Besides, we LOVE Snowbirds and tourist, they are a big part of the reason why Florida doesn't have personal state income tax!

Come all ye tourists and snowbirds-- and bring yore money!! (And be sure to SPENT it freely and leave big tips!!)

I'm really glad you are enjoying your tourist based economy. You don't have a state income tax because so many of you don't work.

I hope lots of people visit Florida, and decide to move there permanently.

Oh goodness if Florida has more people I suspect it will sink into the oceans! Wish and still hope we can migrate South for a respite. 24 degrees here now. I almost farmed myself out to an island resort to get some of those big tips. They just didn't have room for my AS and I am a bit set in my ways for dorm living.

It's a hi of 61 and a low of 48 here in central california. My pet desert tortoise, named Helmethead, is hibernating in his doghouse, so I put him into the garage in his storage box until spring. We get 20's lows in January, too cold for his safety.

I was wondering why we don't have state income tax here, you're right, we all just sit around and b.s. all day. We're like so rich none of us have to work!

This may actually come to a suprise, but Florida actually has a lot more to its economy than tourist We even have some miltiary bases, lncluding the largerst one in the entire free world.

Those that decide to live here permanently are the difference between yankees and damned yankess, the yankees go back home, damned yankees stay. But that's alright, they too neeed a place to live and the more houses being built add that much more to the economy.

I too am a damned yankee here but that's alright, with me owning an Airstream it has helped me to learn how to mellow out and better enjoy life. Although life was rather laid back in Maine, I used to live in L.A. and had my fill of large cities.

You should come down as well, I think the sunlight will do you some good!

It's going down to -7 F tonight, not including wind chill.

The Florida sunlight would definitely do me some good!
