I would have better off not seeing it. My curiousity got to me.

Accident

It is kinda like a really bad accident...you just can't help but look!

Somehow it looked cooler on TV.

I'm not particularly impressed by the car, but it has served to get the Airstream name a lot of attention. This is a good thing, as it may awaken dormant interest in Airstreams.

3 million?

There was a graphic used on the show while they were checking out the "Forstream" that said AS expected to produce 3 million units by 2010.

Does that sound right?

If Ford builds it. Airstream I think makes about 2000 trailers a year....I don't think the actual Airstream factory is big enough to crank out about a million units a year......

Depends on what you mean by a 'unit'.

Reminds me of the TV ads that sell life insurance for only $12.99 per 'unit'. You need to go to their web site to figure out what a 'unit' is. Seems a unit is different for every age and gender. Do people really make purchase decisions on that basis?

I think 3 million units by 3010.

Ford Airstream Crossover B Van

So you say you can't decide what to tow your Airstream with? Go to the 2007 Detroit Auto Show and take a look at this:

Inside Line: 2007 Detroit Auto Show - Ford Airstream Concept

I know this belongs in the "In the news" section, but after trying a dozen times to place it there I gave up.

Well, it's not really great looking. I don't get that warm fuzzy feeling looking at this car that I get when I look at my Argosy.

I guess I'm not a good judge of fine art , the only thing I see in common with Airstream is the color and the name plate , I'd call it dilution
