There's a thought, if you have the room to carry them all. It would certainly make for interesting conversation. You could have some fun with the arrangements, that's for sure.

Someone expressed to me that they thought the flamingos were a gay and lesbian symbol. I don't get it. What in the world gave him that idea? I just associate them with grandma's yards of the 60's.

The color pink originally in the 40's was going to used by marketers as masculine color and light blue as feminine -

Point being is that colors as such carry arbitrary cultural constructs with them.

I suspect it's because of a movie from the early 1970s called Pink Flamingoes which I'll leave it to Wikipedia to describe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Flamingos
