Fire Spotter roost???

This seems to be an awful lot of work, engineering, etc.... for something that is to .... ??? Unless the camper shell was the only way to do it (whatever IT is!) then there would likely have been easier and better ways to 'Git' 'er done....

But then, what the heck. You can say that nobody else has one like it - and you'll be right!

What is it for? Anyone know?

Depending on where the photo was taken, I'm wagering on a deer stand. (Southern states)

When we moved to Lousianna (spent a year and a half there) the stores there were selling these big platforms, basically a seat on a ladder. I had to ask what the heck they were as I had never seen one before. I got a few strange looks, and were told "they're deer stands" - "had I never been hunting?" I had to tell them that where I'm from we have these things called trees

Opening the awning would be quite a treat. Looks to be a Sprite trailer. The first step out looks not too bad, it's the second one that could hurt big time. What ever it's purpose is, I've seen the picture with quite a few different captions to go along with it so if nothing else whoever set it up created quite a conversation piece.

We REDNECKS take our hunting very seriously.

Although the purpose of this trailer is unknown, I would think this is quite an extreme effort for a hunting stand. The trees around the trailer stand don't lend themselves to be in a flood zone. Pines hate regular flooding.

Rednecks, no way that's too much effort, we're just too lazy; we just spotlight them or hit them with our oversized trucks, lets get the proper image going here................. Loooks more like a fufu PETA Spotted Owl observation stand. Spare no expense to protect a species that would look good as a Thanksgiving center piece.

I saw a program on DIY this week end about a "hooch". Basically a fancy tree house with lots of complicated angles. It took a highschool trig teacher to design and build it. Maybe this is one is for highschool drop outs.
