Hitch angle?

The ball mount on my MH is about 4 " higher then
the hitch on my Saturn what is the marging angle for the hookup?

I read in my Blue Ox towbar literature that 4 inches is maximum allowable. But it seems to me that when you are pulling hard as up a grade, or in passing, the downward angle would pull the rear of your P-30 chassis down in the rear, up in front. This might make your steering wander a bit. The other factor is in braking hard. The Saturn might want to slide up under the higher motorhome rear end. Of course, it can't, but these are force vectors that affect handling.

Yo!...KK! If you are having this hitch height issue with a standard (flat) drawbar, I highly recommend you get a stepdown version. $25 or so is not that much

If you already have a stepdown drawbar, Saturns look pretty good with mudders
