On the trip home with our new 1984 310 I got kinda clumsy and broke a bunch of the little plastic slides for the front shades
Our shades had little cloth loops that went through the slots on the plastic slides. Is there a source for these plastic slides? Don't necessarily care of the look original as much as they are functional and without having to modify the track.
Thanks,
Brad

I looked back at your photos and didn't see one with your shades lowered. We had woven wood shades that were yellowed and stained. I ordered replacements at Penney's with the privacy liner. The originals had an unusual tab that slid over the slats and had a nib that traveled in the curved channel to hug the wall. I also broke off about half of the nibs when clumsily removing them. I cut them away from the old slats and soaked in boiling water to soften the hot glue. I found a very small nylon bolt/hex nut at Ace Hardware. The nut fit the tab, but I had to modify the head using a dremel to grind away material until it was the size of the nib. I attached these to the new shades. Yesterday we installed them and Voila! they were perfect.
If you have the pleated shades, there is probably another attachment system. But if you can't find them you might be able to get creative with something else.
Ice and snow are on the way. Today I will finish getting the snaps on the curtains and install them. ...and I promise to try to get some photos posted.

Ooops--what Brad meant to say was that these are the little clips for the front privacy curtains that go around the front of the cab, not the front shades over the front side windows (we replaced those with cellular shades and they look great!). These are the little plastic clips that slide along the aluminum rail and the curtain has loops in the tops that hook onto the clips. We will certainly look at the suggested dealers and see what they have.
Thanks so much!
Susan
