1985 345 12 volt wiring diagram?

Hey folks,

Once again turning to my fellow/gal vintage RV Airstreamers for advice/guidance.

Does anyone happen to have a 12 volt wiring diagram for a 1985 345?

We've got a parasitic draw that we can't figure out.... We know its the 'yellow' wire coming out of the box under the stove... but have no idea where it leads to... it also appears to be connected to the control panel over the sink.

Lastly, it appears that somehow/some reason, its also connected to the ignition as we get a surge in volts when we turn the engine over...

Thoughts? anyone with a diagram that could help us determine the purpose of this particular yellow wire!?!?

Thanks in advance,
Todd

Here's a copy of the 310/345 factory service manual.

It may or may not have the info you're looking for.

While I have this manual..... You seem to have a page I'm missing.... page 246 (of the PDF). According to the manual pages, it's between pages G-29a and G-30.

I'm missing this page as it is specific to a 345 (rather than a 100 series). So I believe this WILL help.

As a follow-up question, do you have the actual manual? there doesn't seem to be a legend for what the numbers on pdf page 246...

This maybe enough, but I'll keep looking too.

THANK YOU !

Todd

Todd, I do not have the manual any longer. It went with the motorhome.

It would appear Airstream assembled the manuals in a somewhat haphazard sort of way by just throwing pages in as the design changed or evolved.

Good luck!

It might well be the LPG detector, quite often under the fridge

Install an LPG which can be disconnected or switched away from permanent power source. Obviously, remember to put it on when travelling. Others will confirm, but I think other potential candidates for parasitic drain are the step power switch and the fridge freezer control unit.
