FWIW the search function in the blue box above works well mainly in the desktop version of this site, it appears. Not so well in the App apparently.

Glad to hear that. Where did you source the igniter board. Our hot water heater is having trouble shutting off. It will boil over and pop the relief valve.

I replaced mine twice. I just called Airstream and they sent out a new part for free. Of course this was under warranty.

The shower seat material in my 23FB is hard (same material throughout the shower), but it does flex slightly when you sit on it. You can hear it when it flexes. It does not feel like it is about to break, however.

First I got all the serial numbers off of our water heater and the existing board. Then I called Dinosaur and they told me which board to buy and directed me to Amazon.

Just came across our 2017 discussion about awnings. Did you get full awnings? Looks like you have been using the trailer and enjoying it over the last two years. Good stuff!
Thanks,
Peter

Thanks. We have some long trips planned. I’ve got to get the hot water squared away.

It is located under the head of the bed near the night table.

2017 23FB hot water red light
Should the red light be on if either the electric or gas switch is one. I would think yes but mine does not turn red. Any idea if it is a bulb or do I need to replace the assembly?

No... the light only comes on if the heater fails to ignite on propane.

I agree with Biker. That red light is a BAD thing. It does nothing at all when the electric element is on. If the propane burner is on, and working as designed, that red light does nothing. If the propane burner tries to ignite, and FAILS, that light comes on to alert you.

Furance
Have a 2017 23FB and it is about 25f now. When I went to bed had the thermostat set to HP and it was working fine. The outside temp than was about 40. Got up the furnace was on and the temperature is about 25. Thinking this normal to protect the tanks and plumbing?

The 23FB forum
The light may come on briefly as the propane tries to ignite. Once the propane starts burning, the light should go off. If it fails to light through three tries, the light stays on to let you know it failed.
They all seem to work that ways, but yeah, it’s relatively not that useful an indicator. Some have added other LEDs to their assorted switches to let them know switches are actually turned on, which makes more sense. Typically green indicates the circuit is turned on, and red should indicate a failure.
Even my tankless water heater works like the usual one. Steady red means it failed to light, a red flash when it tries to start is sorta normal. Not a clean indicator of status, IMHO.

Ditto the water pump switch, fan power switches, etc. Any switch that does not turn a light on directly should have an indicator on it, but not so bright it keeps you awake at night, either.
We won’t get into how the use/store switch LED on that panel works, which is even weirder.

Franktr, I wish I could answer your question. We carry a small portable heater. If we have an electrical hookup we use that. If we don’t, we run the furnace only.
