Where did my classified ad go?
I had an ad for a Silver Streak in the classifieds here.
Just went to look at it but couldn't find it.
Do classifieds expire? I don't think I violated anyone's terms of use.
What Happened??

Jerry,
They expire after a couple of weeks, but you usually get an email asking if you want to extend.

Maybe it's a pop-up instead of an email. I'm a little fuzzy this early in the morning.

Jerry? I'll easily assume you saw the ad in the first place. One I'd placed a couple years back needed an email renewal at one month intervals. Can you tell me approximately when you placed the ad?
Thanks,
Bob

Ads do expire after a time. You can repost it though. The only ads we routinely remove are ads that say "check out my e-bay auction..." The auctions end long before our ads expire.

Hi Janet, Looking forward to Area 33. It'll be fun for sure.
I'm having problems uploading an ad for the 71 safari. We bought Bruces 79 Tradewind and need to 'share' the 71 Safari. Anyway, went thru steps 1, 2, and 3 to post an ad, added photos, description etc and hit the submit button and it just sat there and finally dumped me back to step 2. I've tried it 3 times with no post. Any ideas?

Try posting without the photos, if it goes through, then click "edit ad", and add photos one at a time. It is possible the software doesn't like the photos, either too large, wrong format, etc.

I would like to download a photo to my ad searching for a center wheel cap. Could someone guide me?

To ad pics to an ad:
Log into the forums and open the ad.
Look on the blue tool bar under the price info - you should see "edit ad, mark
it SOLD" and other choices.
Click on "edit ad". Now you can change the text of the ad or ad photos.
To add photos click the "browse" box. You should see a list of files on your computer. Select the photo that you would like to upload. Photos are size limited. Be sure that they are 360 x 360 pixels or smaller and no larger than 60K.
You can repeat this process in the subsequent boxes for additional photos.
Be sure to hit "save changes" when you are finished in the editor box.
You should see your ad post immediately.
Photos larger than the size above will not load.
