Sooooo .......... I've noticed that "some" of the Forum have little rivets by their login names. What do you have to do to "get" those rivets? I thought it had something to do with the number of 'posts' that you've made, but I just saw a 1-Rivet-Member who had only 5 posts! Would someone please explain? (Not that it really matters, it's just my curious nature).

It is based on # of posts. 250 posts = 5 rivets, for instance.
I think everyone starts out as a 1 rivet user...

or...try the rivet exchange program
Rivets may be obtained by shipping me your airstream (fully restored of course). Upon reciept of your baby I will send you a rivet suitable for mounting.
One rivet per vehicle only please!
Fine print: Please include $4.95 for return shipping and handling of your rivet and a self adressed, stamped envelope. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
One rivet per household only please. Must be 18 to participate. AS must be fully restored to qualify.
How many would you like

As I slowly gain rivets here, I increasingly notice a proportional loss of rivets to my trailer! Post at your own risk!!! Of course, you will have lots of fun, learn lots of stuff about your trailer and maybe even put in a few rivets your self!
Some more truly terrifying thoughts occur to me on this subject...
-Once you get a taste for rivets, nails will never be the same.
-Rivets will never screw you up
-What can I say--it's riveting stuff!
Ok, I'll stop!
Good luck on gaining your rivets! You can always just remove them (like Brett and xray have), go to your Control Panel for that.\
Say, do you have an airstream? If so, is it new or old? If not, what kind of trailer is really getting you 'dreamin of 'streamin?

It is a trade off, rivets or a custom user title, hmmmm..........
How many rivets would I have if I went back to a standard title based on post counts?
Five is the max, but I can dream, right?

My aluminum rivets are temporarily removed because I'm replacing them with rivets of a material which is more symbolic of the $ I have invested in this old bucket.

Well! OBVIOUSLY, your problem is that you're using too many pop rivets and not enough Olympic rivets!

Yes, the one that holds it all together.

You have to do this! I think you need a mask and cape (and beret?), too. Maybe a rivet applique on your back (remember, this could be a work in progress)? It could be your alter identity at rallies. Then again, Tony might disown you when your super-hero alter identity appears (then again, super-heros are not supposed to be recognized when in character).

No, I do not own an A/S yet, but I'm "in the market" for one. I'm contemplating buying a "brand-new '04" off the lot, but would love to find that late-model pre-owned one for less than "brand-new" price. I'm still trying to make an EDUCATED & SANE decision! BTW, y'all are funny! Can't wait to be "one of ya"!

Oh, Sandy, but while you haven't got that trailer, you do have rivets! At least the virtual kind. Oh, and a whole lot of bad puns to prepare you for the day you think you've absolutely lost your rivets and buy an airstream!
