New laptop,same old problem! Help
I bought a new laptop w/Vista (and it's not screwed up (yet)). I still do not have a clue how to post a link to another website! I need very simple directions on how to do this. I've tried to use the right click paste thing and still don't get it to work.Pretend I'am a first grader and show me from the beginning...Please. Brian

here's another way:
Open the webpage that you want to link to and copy the url in the address line of your browser. To do this, highlight the the address and then hit "ctrl" and "c"keys at the same time. This copies the address onto your clip board.
Then make the post that you want to include the link in, when you are ready to paste the link, click "Ctrl" and "v" keys at the same time to paste the address into the new location.
It should appear thusly: Home
Our forum software will change the link address to text that reflects the webpage (in this case the home page of the Oregon Unit of the wbcci).

All those funny letters at the front and back of an address ( http:/..... and.com) are code that will make the address a hot link. All you have to do is type it all in - exactly right. See how this link in the post goes nowhere? the address is not complete.

You shouldn't have to ever write it down, just click and highlight the address on the top of the page, right click and select copy then come make your post and right click and then select paste or paste it into an e-mail or where ever you want.
