Search function?
Is the search function busted? I can get search results, but when I click on the result (whether a thread or individual post) it takes me to the main "forums" list.

Seems to be working fine for me...but, I'll make a note for the admin techs.
Can you give any more info - what browser do you use? What keywords are you searching? Which thread(s) does this happen to? If you go directly to the thread does if function properly? Any additional info will be helpful...

Mark,
While I have nothing good to say about our search tool, I just checked and it appears to be functioning normally

Still not working for me. I'm using IE, the search terms are cat+scale. It works OK on Firefox.
I get results, but if I click on the thread title it just take me to the [/airforums/forums] page

Strange, not sure what might cause that.
In the mean time you might try using google. Entering the search term(s) site:airforumscom will use googles power while limiting the hits to the forums
-----> cat scales site:airfourums.com
To be honest, the google approach is much better for finding information than our search tool anyway.

working fine 4me on safari/firefox and i.e.
i'm sure u've done this markdoane....
cleared the cookies and other 'reset' things...
i.e. seems to need this whenever the server/software gets tweaked.
I LIKE THE SEARCH FUNCTION here!
much much better that google/air, pages of the same thread sillyness.
almost always use the 'advanced search' approach.
the key IF the first try yields too much is 2 limit the search to specific forums OR specific members posts...
for example cat scale limited to tires, hitches, towing and tow vehicles,
provides most of the relevant threads and posts....
cheers

YEP, does that for me too. Really a drag. Using IE 6.0.
