New Features (Classifieds & Reviews)
As you can see at the top of each page I have added some new features to our site. These are a "work in progress" and your input is needed to set them up properly. Please post your suggestions on categories, etc...

Organic Hosting,
Let me first say that you are doing an awesome job!
Here are a few possible categories: refrigerators, tires, wheels (mag), antennas, clearcoat removal products, polish products, sealers (vulkem, sikaflex, etc.), airstream dealers (new and used), Internet parts suppliers, or just part suppliers in general (Camping World, Inland RV, ect.), RV/Airstream repair shops.
The list could be endless.
Again, thanks for making this a great site!

Don't forget brake controllers. I was just replying to a brake controller post and half expected to see a Prodigy add scroll across the top. I also agree that you're doing an awesome job.

Hummm. Given the size of this group -- relatively small -- and given the extremely large number of parks and campgrounds, I wonder if we'd ever get to a point of value?
Here's a suggestion: Rather than attempting to review every park that comes down the pike, how about we pick on the WBCCI parks, both the true-blue Airstream parks and the ones that give discounts.
OK, I know this isn't a WBCCI forum, but at least it's a more managable number of parks to review!
Naturally, too, I realize that, as one of the owners of this kind of park, this sounds strange coming from me! However, when we travel (as relatively new WBCCI members), we now get out the WBCCI book and use the sucker to stay in parks that give discounts. And so far, our batting average has been a whopping zilch: The only two we stayed at both denied that they give discounts to Airstreamers. Duh!!

Why start out on the wrong foot...
On your new classified sheet you have for some reason placed the vintage catagory from 36 to 69.
My math says the vintage catagory is up to and including 1979.
Why make something more confusing than necessary? Might as well fix it now before it gets used.
Is the portal button only another term for "Home" which still has a button a little lower on the page?
Darn if I can recall what the old portal looked like exactly and my screen shots are just of posts sans the header. But it looks like the name "Airstream Forums.com" has been eased away from the header. Is this a precursor to a name change?
If so why?

The more you do, the more I like it!
Can you implement some kind of a spell checker?
I think that would be a nice feature to have!
Great Job Andy! Keep up the good work!

Some sub catagories under sales would be good but don't get too caried away.
I moderate a different site and they got carred away and it got to be a handful. Trimmied it down to a few main catagories and it works out.
Something like:
Wheels and running gear
Appliances
Tow vehicle
Tow vehcile parts
Hitch and towing equipment
interrior parts
exterior parts.
A nice lead in pleas read first post would be good with some rules.
I like seeing the location in the title. Somethign large in California is going to cost to much to ship. So I usualy request the people title somethign like: "Reefer ,works Northern CA". Now you know what and where without opening.
Keep up the good work Andy. Site is getting better all the time!

We changed our header in order to comply licensing issues with Airstream ,Inc. I have been working with them on a licensing agreement. I just ran out of funds paying those darn attorney's. I should be able to get the agreement finished up after my August 15th paycheck. Sure wish I could spend that money on my Bambi.
And yes, the portal button is another button for home...

For a spell checker I use ieSpell Check. I'll make another thread for that. It works real well for all websites.

I have added the campground reviews from our old software, so checkout the review section and post your reviews when you get back from camping! The more info we can put together the better resource we'll build!

Military Campgrounds
Organic Hosting....Here is a link to a good reference for those of us that are Active Duty, Reserve, or Retired Military...a good reference for Military Campgrounds.
http://www.armymwr.com/portal/travel/paths/green.asp
Just click on a state and the links to that State's military Campgrounds are present.

Posting classifieds
I still don't see the link to post a classified. My eye laser surgery must be failing me. I just realized even though it said I was logged in (Welcome Robandzoe) but I had to log in to see the Place ad area.

Visited Links
Andy,
Could you change the HTML so that it shows the visited links a different color?
Thanks for all of your hard work and what you have put into this forum!
