HELP!! 2019 22" Sport

Hi y'all!

I am new to this page. I am in desperate need for help... We bought a 2019 22" Sport in August 2018. We drove our brand new trailer from Washington state to Montana to Texas (approx. 2,500 miles in total). We were about 5 hours away from our final designation in Texas and our trailer's right side wheel bearing went out. The tire flew off the opposite side of the highway and caused a small fire on right side of the shoulder. We pulled over and caught a guy put our tire in his truck and drove off. Our trailer has been in the shop since September. They are trying to figure out who covers the repair and they suspect that the wheel bearing was not lubed properly. We bought the trailer because we wanted to live in it and travel for a while. We feel very discouraged and we decided that it is not safe to keep it. So, my question is... what can we do to get it out of our hands? Shoot away feedbacks, tips, etc. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Nev-R-Lube should last longer than just 2,500 miles.

Contact Airstream. Your trailer should be under guaranty.

Very sorry this happened. If you want to sell it after repairing it (or before), you could list it on Airstream Classifieds.

I really hate to see someone trash their dream when they have an incident early on in their Airstreaming experience... Please don't loose your enthusiasm to enjoy your Airstream. If you ask anyone who owns an Airstream (or any RV for that matter), there will be stories like this ... sh*t happens .... you just have to get it fixed (it should be covered by your warranty), pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move on with the dream. Just because it happened once doesn't mean it will happen again. Just think what would happen if everyone who had an auto accident quite driving? Hang in there and put one foot in front of the other.
