Not even a key word search anymore-
Used to be a key word search-
Now, the search function is absolutely nothing- useless- does not work at all.
If we have to use a Google search anyway, why not remove it altogether, rather than give people false hope?
If the software platform limits the usefulness, why not remove it altogether?
It simply does not work/do anything and hasn't for quite some time.
I would prefer if it wasn't even there teasing me.

No error message, just completely inadequate for searching for more than a single term.

I would like to search for phrases, even if it is only available in the advanced search. If one searches for "piano bench hinge" now, every post with each word returns. Any other forum in which I am active, even in non-advanced mode, lets you put quotes around a phrase to return the phrase intact. Sure, the Goggle function does that, but the output is no better than going to Google and specifying Airstream Forum in the search.

The search function at one time worked better at pinpointing a particular thread the more words you used- for instance, "Where did you wake up this Sunday morning" would bring up that thread as the first result.
Now, if you type that it he search it will bring up every thread.
A one word search is pretty useless. You should be able to search a phrase or a thought or a topic or category.
A Google search works.

OK Mentioned this a few weeks ago and now can't find the original post (Hmmmm) Prefer NOT to use Paypal to make my payment for the dues. Several other folks mentioned the same. Funny thing happened afterwards posted below (Besides my original post turning up missing). Can we PLEASE start taking another form of payment other then Paypal??

Stickers are sent with each years support. That said, it's common to have them returned via post when shipping addresses are incorrectly noted in the transaction. Please check the address you have listed with paypal. If you did not get stickers we can resend them. Just shoot me a note with a correctly formatted address and they will be included in the next mailing.

Hi there - I got an email saying my paid membership is about to expire. The following link is included:

When I click there, it takes me to a login page but when I log in (with username and password) it thanks me and brings me back to the login page. I log in again, same result.

I use the iPhone app usually, not the web from my phone. In the past, I've been able to get to a web version of Airforums with Safari on my phone, but now it looks more like an app and doesn't let me log in.

I'd like to re-up my membership (and obtain more cool stickers) but I'm being prevented from doing so.

I welcome any suggestions. Thanks!

Master: I reached back into my piggy bank and pulled out the $20 investment to help fully appreciate the Air Forum membership. I sent in the PayPal payment 3 weeks ago and have not received any communications or email from the forum and wanted to send out this note to just check in and see if I've missed a step or need to be patient. I know patient is a virtue but I not that virtuous. I have not read through all 68 pages of blog comments on this link as I probably should but as said above its the patients thing.

Appreciate any feedback on this. I'd like to display my membership as we start this years adventures to see if it will bring a smile, thumbs up or even a conversation along the road. Thanks

As WBCCI has the BIG RED numbers; AIR FORUM has blue numbers. Why not display them and show your support?

Bigcgar there usually is no confirmation communication and the stickers go out every couple of weeks or so. They will likely be along soon.

I know if my subscription renewal has gone thru because I can then post a picture again.
