Does everyone here have an Air Forums number? I see them on a lot of posts in the signature block, but I do not know where the come from? Are they useful? Do I have one?

Amaier you have one also.
I'm using the forum on a phone/tablet app so it's a little bit limited however on a desk top I could get you there.
Look under the user CP section or your signature area and scroll down there will be your number.

These number are generated when you register an account and everyone has one. The forum member list is sortable by username or member number as well as in a variety of other ways: http://www.airforums.com/forums/members/list/

Moderators: How many rivets do I have to buy to NOT have the AF pop up ad to appear multiple times on EVERY page on my IPad?

You don't buy rivets, Mike.
They accumulate based on your post totals.
If you go to your user profile, click on "edit options", you can opt out of many things that otherwise show up on your page

I think we need to check this out because I noticed when logged into the forum on my iPad that I'm getting very frequent pop ups from the forum trying to get us on the email list. It's probably something tied to some Apple iOS changes.

If you click on your User CP, then scroll down to Miscellaneous, under that is an Account Upgrade button that should take you to it.

Likely it's been a year but you usually get 1 email warning to resubscribe. But very quickly, or so it seems, afterward poof your back to regular forum membership. No posting photos. That gets me motivated quickly.
