Travels With Our 59 Tradewind (Day 14)

We've moved from Foley AL to Zephyrhills FL since the last posting. I'll try to get caught up now.
While we were still in Foley AL,we awoke to another beautiful sunny day after a chilly night. We thought we had run out of propane, but the fridge wouldn't stay lit again. After several attempts, hubby got it going and all is well. We took a drive to the Gulf beaches, and saw many newly constructed homes and condo apartments -- Very colourful, beautiful buildings on stilts. We drove along the water to Pensacola by the Navy Air Base -- quite impressive.
We had dinner at Lambert's Throwed-Rolls Restaurant in Foley where they actually THROW your dinner rolls to you. Quite the active place with the waitresses spraying you with fake mustard and other jokes like that. It was very enjoyable, the food was fabulous (everyone in the restaurant leaves with at least one take-out container), and we had a great time there.
Another cool day on Sunday, and after laying around all day, we went to our friends' house to watch the SuperBowl game. Great time with good friends.
On Monday, we hooked up and headed out to Florida. We hit quite a bit of rain once we got on the I-75 at Gainesville, and finally found a park in the dark and the pounding rain in Silver Springs. We managed to find the night manager at Wilderness RV Park, and he put us in for the night. Very nice park, nice bathrooms, $36 / night.
We decided to stay another night to visit other friends there and headed out Wednesday morning.
Today, we made to Zephyrhills FL, and are parking in another friend's yard for about two weeks now.
These two pics are from Plantation RV Park at Wolf Creek in Foley AL.
