    Hi and thanks for your message. I’m not an expert in these things by any measure, but I do believe that most Airstreams being towed behind a 3/4 or 1 Ton pickup do not need WD. Sway, however, is a different phenomenon and is usually caused by improper loading (some great YouTube videos on this you’ve probably seen). I replaced my stock shocks for Bilsteins which I’ve run on every truck I’ve owned. I keep my speed to 65 mph max, but usually closer to 60 mph, and slower downhill with assistance from the diesel exhaust brake. My truck has a Max Tongue weight of 1,850 lbs and ideal loaded is 60% of that, and not exceeding 80% of that. Keep the trailer ball greased. Thats about it. I don’t mess with WD hitches which are a pain, and cause unnecessary trailer and truck issues for 3/4 ton and above. Hope that helps. Feel free to reply back if I missed anything. Thnx
