Hello Hessehesse!! Sorry I just now got this almost two months later!! But we used regular oil based Kilz primer and regular latex valspar paint!!! It took 3 coats in some areas, but looks great and did a great job...hopefully it holds up for a long time

Hi Airmonty - I saw that you painted your interior. I assume this was over the original panels. What kind of paint did you use? Any problems with how the paint layered on to these older panels?
