    Regele1,

Vans are awesome for TV's, especially for AS's. The low profile of an AS, coupled with the higher profile of todays Chevy Vans are a great combo. The higher HP ratings and torque along with the longer wheel base makes for a super ride while towing. I pull my 31'r with a 1/2 ton van, which is sort of a "heavy half" compared to older vans, and I LOVE IT! I grew up with vans because my parents business so I am very used to them. The van itself is already "punching" a pretty good hole in the wind infront of the trailer and I typically get 14-16 MPG towing. A 3/4 ton for newer heavier AS would do an awesome job for you. My van is the 5.3L coupled to the 3:73HD rear. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs and we have more than enough room for all of us plus our gear in the van and TT when we camp.

I noticed you have a Van as your TV, I'm thinking of getting a 2005-2007? Chevy Express 2500, I have a 2005 28' International. The GVWR is 7300lbs, I'm full timing with my fiance so I'd add about 500-1000lbs of our stuff. Do you think that the TV will be able to handle the load.
