Upgrades and Improvements on 2021 Travel Trailers

I got an email from Airstream with the Upgrades and Improvements on 2021 Travel Trailers.

I see upgraded tankless on-demand water heater. I wonder if that is on all 2021 travel trailers?

If you’re at a site with electric power would the on-demand water heater still use propane?

I see the all-new Airstream Power Plus[emoji769] Lithium package is available for install at dealerships for advanced energy storage and use. I wonder what the cost of that is and what brand of batteries they are providing?

Here’s the wording from the email:

Interior lighting has been updated to a warmer tone throughout the full line
Upgraded tankless on-demand water heater
Seamless composite flooring throughout the traditional travel trailer line
Battery and Solar Updates: Batteries will not be included as standard equipment to ensure our customers are getting new fresh batteries during delivery. If the optional solar package is selected from the factory, travel trailers will ship with 2 AGM batteries. The all-new Airstream Power Plus[emoji769] Lithium package is available for install at dealerships for advanced energy storage and use.
Upgraded Progressive Dynamics 1,000 watt inverter on applicable models
Upgraded Victron solar controller on applicable models
All master bedrooms now include blackout curtains helping to block out any sunlight

I just put a refundable deposit on a 2021 Caravel FB. Taking the next 48 hours to digest, crunch some numbers and make sure this is the right move. Happy to have found one. I will report back when I fully pull the trigger.

The only thing I find exciting is the composite flooring.

I don’t see how composite could be a bad thing but if you keep up with the maintenance that should be done I don’t see how it would make that much difference. Even with composite leaks will still have to be addressed or you will deal with mold and damage to other interior fixtures. Am I missing something here?

You can keep up with maintenance and still end up with damaged wood from an undetected leak. I'd much rather have a subflooring that won't be damaged from water.
