We noticed a few of these when we were in Florida. I thought they looked nice. I imagine they help drop the temp fairly well.

We bought one and added it last year for International Rally, and were glad we did! We have one that does not span our entire awning (21 ft), but added rivets so we can move the shade around on the awning to the ideal position. We've purchased additional awning snaps to add to the streetside awning so we can use the shade on that side of the trailer also if the sun is very hot.
They do make a difference in hot sun.

Amazon has solar shades that slide in a track of some awnings. I'm not near my AS but was wondering if the Zip Dee awnings have this track to install a sun shade.

I have the 15' for my 27 Globetrotter. I ordered from here:

They offer one height, see picture. Comes with a couple of extra snaps, I added one so that I can shift the shade to either end of the awning.

We bought one as well. Zip Dee was at Alumapalooza last year and had a limited supply there. It does make a difference when it is sunny out.

ZipDee Solar Shade
If you order from ZipDee they have 2 widths, 10' and 15'. They also have 2 drop lengths, 5' and 6'. Get the 6' drop. Trust me as the guy that took my order for my first Solar Shade recommended the 5' drop as he said the 6' drop would drag the ground. He was so wrong. I now have a 15' wide x 6' drop and it is so much better. 12" makes a big difference.
Maybe this is ZipDee way of selling more Solar Shades!!!
It is a very nice product and does a great job at filtering out the sun.
