Up for sale is our we purchased fully restored 3 years ago with the intent of traveling in it. it s registered as a 1952 but have been told it s probably a
1954.
We purchased it in Arizona fully and beautifully restored, towed it back to our new/vintage home in Kansas with only a stop overnight at a rest area and have stored it ever since. This beauty needs to be traveled in and enjoyed to it's full potential, which we don't see that happening in our near future. We wanted one fully restored as we didn't want to spend the time doing it. Even transporting it to our home the attention and gawking was endless. Here are the details that we received when we purchased it is exactly the same excellent condition minus us replacing the kitchen cushion covers, curtains and bedding as it didn't match our vintage style.

"Tobacco Trail Acacia" hand scraped engineered hard wood flooring throughout, polished interior walls so much better than painted , cherry cabinetry, custom shelving and an amazing amount of storage/hidden storage throughout. All glass is good shape, windows function as they should, exterior door step slides smooth and it has modern BAL stabilizers as well.
Whomever did the restoration was a craftsman with a great deal of time and money invested in it. It is a solid little gem and we have never had any leaks or concerns about any part of it since we've owned it. Our only concern is that we aren't restorers, so we did our due diligence studying up on restored airstreams and what to look for and never looked back purchasing it.
Sleeps 4 small people! The front converted bed measures 42" x 77", perfect for small children, or one adult. Bed in back measures 50" x 84" with a new custom mattress. Still brand new since we never used it!
It towed great with our V 6 Tacoma and our new 2.7 Bronco. We felt comfortable towing it with both, even if it was just transporting home or moving it to our storage. I know, sad, right?
We loved it day one and was exactly what we wanted, until we moved and had little time to travel with it properly. It's a gem.
