Title: 1972 Airstream Globetrotter 21 - Connecticut
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Selling our Airstream Globetrotter. This was a recent purchase and we have just had some other issues arise so we are selling before getting started on our renovation! I do not know everything about this trailer as it is pretty new to me. What I do know: It is a 1972 Airstream Globetrotter, 21 feet. Body is good, although has a patch over the right front corner. There is no sign of the covered issue on the inside as far as I can tell. Our plan was to take off patch and re-do (which our body guy said he would do for a few hundred dollars). I have the keys and original manuals. Electricity works. Was told bathroom works, but have not checked out those systems. Bathroom is original. Kitchen and counter has been re-built, you would likely want to remove it and re-do to you liking...I started by taking off the doors that were falling off anyway! Cushions are all new and VERY well done, can easily be re-covered if the fabric is not your taste. They are in MINT condition! Have both original gaucho sofa/bed frames, the front one is not attached at the moment, but we have the frame. NO original appliances. Has original awning. This trailer is a GREAT candidate for a gut and re-do, or to bring back to life to it's original glory. Awesome smaller size with single axle. We just pulled it about 200 miles...tires are now new, but towed fine. Takes a 2 15/16ths ball. Serious inquiries only.
