First time towing and trip out!

After a year of renovations, ( almost all done) finally hooked the trailer up and took it out! Drove to a big parking lot and tested braking, backing into spaces, and how well it handled. Then up steep freeway on ramps to see how well the ecoboost engine pulled it up to speed. With the exception of a couple cabinet doors flying open, all went great! The Ford's ecoboost engine does fine. No extra reserve power, but tows it with enough authority to keep it comfortable.

Jupiter II, huh? Is your surname Robinson, perchance? Or are you just lost in space?

Never mind. The television Jupiter II did look like it might have been made of aluminum, and Airstrams do come from the "mothership" so the name is very apropos of its antecedents.

As we are both fans of the old tv show, and we are never really knowing where we will end up, Jupiter 2 seemed perfect. We almost called it The Chariot- after the glass enclosed trac vehicle that they used on the show, but Jupiter 2 won out.

Thanks! As you may have noticed from the photos, the upper part of the rear of the trailer has been painted grey, we suspect to hide some body work on the right side. They painted the left side as well to ( I guess) make it look balanced. As the trailer was backed into an rv garage with crap stored all around it, we did not notice this when we decided to buy it. I will be repainting this, but have not found an appropriate color/ finish to do it in yet. Any suggestions?
