We are sorry to say that we will not be able to make it this year with the issues I am having getting the MoHo ready in time

Long story short, it is in the shop and they botched locating the right parts for 4 weeks .... Which was the 4 weeks I had planned to get the beds built and installed after I got it back from the RV shop getting the A/C's and some other stuff top side done.

We even thought about renting an RV so we could go anyway.... But the cost was astronomical for the week-end while we are waiting to get the total cost of the repairs.

We were so looking forward to attending. Last years was the best rally, camping, drinking, eating good time fun we have had... We will miss it sorely. We WILL be back in 2015 though!

I will be calling Kathryn's Landing tomorrow to cancel our spot (#111- midway on the lake)

That's a bummer! You know they rent Yurts and cabins for a lot less than renting an RV. We would really like to see y'all again. Isn't it your birthday that weekend?

We called about the yurts and cabins. They are all rented. There is a family reunion going on that weekend as well.

Yeah it is my BDay. We are still thinking about driving out for friday night and staying at a local B&B.

We know how that goes with the Moho and waiting on parts ;-) I am putting mine in the shop next week when we get back from Dallas. I need to get my ac's to both work when plugged into shore power, not sure why they are not anymore. They should only have for a week. I just had it tuned up and carb adjusted. She is running like a new one, well so it seems. Lol. We will miss the ribs too, I mean y'all too!

I know! I've been pretty busy at work and haven't posted much. It looks like a good group again this year, this may be our last time hosting it but maybe someone wants to take it over or co host? We will get the schedule and t shirts posted by this weekend.

Some news from our side...we will be coming with a new (to us) trailer. We will be picking up our 2005 Safari 30LS bunkhouse from the previous owner this weekend and will have it in tow for our "school's-out" trip which ends at the FoD rally!

It is quiet but once I post the potluck theme....it will go nuts! 😜 we enjoy putting it together but it is getting to be a challenge with the group growing in size and a bit $$. Zell and I need to pick up the pace or y'all may fire us as hosts! We are behind schedule.

I vote that we implement a rally fee. Brad, what kind of $$ do we. Need to cover so that you and Z aren't paying out of pocket?

I'm also open to co- hosting next year. I can't be trusted with the entire thing, but I can be Momma's Little Helper!

We "second" a rally fee. Let us know, please, it's the right thing to do. You and Zell do wonderful things to make the rally a fun event. It was worth driving a thousand miles last year, and we're doing it again this year.
