Thumbs up Bowlus Trailer Book
My Dad bought for me the Blurb.com book entitled "Bowlus Trailers: The Origin of the Species." ( Bowlus Trailers | By John Long | Category: History | Blurb )

This book chronicles the life and accomplishments of Hawley Bowlus, sailplane builder and true builder of the original streamlined silver aluminum trailer. It is a wonderful book with lots of pictures and great text and of course mentions the 1936 Airstream Clipper- the spin off that Wally made after Bowlus went bankrupt...or was it before the bankruptcy?? I would recommend it if you are interested in Airstream History.
