Trader Joe's Tarte Alsace

Finally putting the oven to use. At Trader Joe's we found a great frozen pizza called Tarte Alsace.

The Safari's microwave doubles as a convection oven and even has a small rack to put this pizza on. This pizza is small enough to fit in the Airstream freezer (took it out of the box but it is wrapped in plastic).

I tried cooking this covered on the propane grill too.. til it was just a bit crispy.

With a salad we've an excellent meal for two for under $15! - including a nice white wine of course. I recommend Trader Joe's Vouvray (Lacheteau) or their Riesling (Ulrich Langguth).

It would have been under $10 if you got Two Buck Chuck.
