Cooking tools

We will be leaving for Florida at the end of the month and now I must decide what cooking tools to take and it is not easy. I guess i will take my waffle iron, air fryer, sous vide machine, grill and my portable induction stove top. Have I left anything out?

If space isn’t an issue, an Instant Pot is handy and foolproof for good cooking. Takes some time to get the hang of it and sort through the incredible variety of recipes online though!

I lived in the trailer for a year or two on the road while working. My appliances list of standard items includes,

1. magic bullet blender
2. food chopper, aka food processor.
3. slow cooker
4. fold up two burner Coleman stove
5. drip coffee maker
6. clothes iron

Ok the iron wasn't a necessary item for the kitchen but I worked in an office situation.

I've since added a waffle maker.

They are all small.

Just a hint. A toaster, or toaster oven takes a lot of power from your sometimes limited supply. It also takes limited counter space.

I used to be a sail boater. Space was an issue there more than in the trailer. I learned that making toast can be done in a small skillet on the range top. Just use a lightly oiled, buttered, pan and medium heat. Drop the piece of bread in the pan. Flip once and a while to check the doneness. It really works .
