new owner of a 19FC

Hi everybody,

we finally got our Airstream on Friday and are back from our first trip. We love our "flying bullet", as my wife calls her and are looking forward to spend more time in it. After many years in a tent, this feels like a huge upgrade!

Trailer: 2014 19' flying cloud with black ultraleather

TV: 2013 Ford F150 XLT, supercrew 4x4, ecoboost, hd and max tow packages

After months of debating between a porsche cayenne diesel or the truck, we finally purchased the truck for the practicality. We have our mountain bikes and road bikes, bike gears, wood and some other stuff in the bed and we can still use the back seat of the truck.

For those interested, I got ~13mpg on this first trip (50F, mostly hills)

Looks great.

We also have the 19FC (2013 model) and are very happy with it. We've been out at least one long weekend every month since we took delivery.

The truck was a great choice. We tow with a 2010 GMC Sierra and also get a pretty consistent 12-13mpg while towing.

Enjoy!

Beautiful, welcome and enjoy. Be sure to post those wonderful photos on the Bambi Eye Candy thread! I tow with 2500 Suburban.
