? re rear wiper on 2003 Expedition

Farmers Insurance replaced my rear windon last week; it had been damaged by some falling object.....had deep scratches/strawations, wiper also.

The glass people discovered the wiper did not/would not work. Farmers does not wish to pay (have to use my deductable--did not have to for the glass replacement, safety issue.) or it is a moot point as my dedictable is $750

Have any of you had experience with a non-working rear wiper? I never used it.....am thinking of forgetting it. I can't see anything but the trailer anyway and usually stop in storms.

Any suggestions? I can't find the Expedition fuse box.

Fuse box is under the hood, near the battery. If it isn't a fuse, it's kind of an involved issue to figure out if it's a switch, the motor, or a relay or wiring. It could even be the switch that indicates the hatch is open (wiper won't run if the window is open).
