Overwhelmed by so many options

Hello,
I bought WallE about a year ago and he’s getting worked on currently. The subfloor looked great from what we could see but now that belly pan is removed the back end is completely rotted so now it’s a new subfloor. We initially were going to just fix underneath but since we are lifting top off to get subfloor replaced we decided to go ahead and renovate what we can. So many YouTube videos on how to get it done but I don’t mind paying a little more for better product if possible. We are thinking of Rockwool or Hemp for insulation, vinyl flooring in herringbone pattern, and possibly IKEA cabinets on the bottom and for wardrobe if possible since they make eco friendly bamboo. Where I am not sure about is if it’s worth salvaging the old interior skins? We are paying professionals to fix up this beauty so the labour to clean it, prime it, paint it might not be much cheaper than buying new aluminum skins,
The tougher decision is if it’s worth getting solar power. It’s seems very expensive for our climate since we only camp 3-4 months a year. We used a generator in the past with no AC and it worked very well and wasn’t too loud. The Lithium Ion batteries are not very environmentally friendly either (neither is gasoline but I think it’s still the lesser of two evils.) We are installing 12 volt and propane lines so maybe solar isn’t necessary. I dunno…
We are reusing windows but getting them tinted. We hope to reuse the upper cabinets in kitchen if possible plus the stove top, hood fan and fridge since they all work well.
For anyone who’s renovating or renovated their AS recently, what suggestions do you have? We are keeping the cost ideally under 50k.
I have already purchased new curtains because old ones were gross and moth eaten. The look I am going for is inspired by the Tommy Bahama model that AS used to make a few years ago.
My partner loves the small LED swivel potlights.Has anyone installed them and is it worth getting? We are likely holding off unless budget allows on the bathroom this year. We are used to using the ones in parks so no biggie if we do without this season.
We are just at the beginning of our renovation journey so wish us luck! Please comment on anything you wished you had done or known about BEFORE you did your renovations. Thank you 🙏. This community is the best!

If you have priced interior skins you might already be in the know.

I don't think it would be cheaper than cleaning, priming and painting. Unless yours are damaged or you are completely changing the layout keep them they already fit perfectly.

We reused the original interior walls in our remodel but removed the vinyl surface with Citri-Strip. We wanted bare aluminum, & they look great. We did replace the molded plastic end caps with new segmented aluminum end caps & also the top-most strip is new.

Painting or stripping the interior skins will be much less expensive than new. But if you have more $$ than time, go for it.
