I dig monoslope roofs. Built mine last year.
If you’re only parking an Airstream you don’t need more than 12’ tall doors. That will result in a 14’ plate height. You can get away with smaller doors but 12’ is comfortable and 14’ provides enough space to work on roof things.
If you go higher than 12’ doors you are looking at commercial doors and everyone with a 5th wheel begging you to park there before the next hailstorm .

I really like your air-port. It looks like a great design. I have 3 airstreams that would fit nicely in it.

I envy you being able to shelter your Airstream close to home. Are you a member of the Airstream Club? Yes? Great! Do you offer courtesy parking? Sorry - just had to ask. I've been to Fredericksburg, TX before and it is a lovely town.

Metal roof is installed to match the main house and barn. Almost there. Cedar work still in progress, trim and some plumbing.

Love your car port and love seeing what others have done.
Here’s a rendering of ours that just got permitted. We call it the sparkle barn. The building actually tapers from 22’ wide at the front to 10’ wide at the back as one side runs parallel to the property line and the other runs parallel to the back of the house and is 44’ long. Plan to have water, sewer and 50A power (off of a 100A sub-main) + gas to keep the inside heated in winter. Roll up doors on the side are so that the whole thing can be used as an indoor/outdoor entertaining space. Main door is 14’ wide x 12’ tall.

The Calmpound
Right behind you in Arboles, CO... the “Calmpound”.. we will have 200 amp to the building, RV pedestal with 50,30 inside and one outside... dropping plumbing in the slab for future 400 sq ft apt ( we won’t have a house on the lot) ... asking if we can get RV dump inside as well (with trap)...
I’m getting the sense more folks are building their own campsites like this...hmmm, is there a forum for private site swap?

What is the heigh, say 6ft away, from the tallest wall, measured from the inside? That is the critical height to clear your a/c unit. Aftermarket fan covers are even higher up, but you won't need them under the carport. Looks great! Wish I had room for this, lol.

I am also interested in that information as we have been discussing the concept of building a storage garage/workshop and it would be interesting to compare costs.

Is your AS 30amp? You ever going to upgrade to a 50A RV plug?
Most RV plugs also have a 20A GFI duplex plug. Also a 50A RV plug is too 50A breakers and a 20A plug. Don't cut yourself short.

We have a local neighbor who built a car/rv port, then added an apartment above it. Uses it as a guest house,
while keeping hs AS under cover. If we only had the room, lol. We live in St Augustine and have a double lot. Plenty of room to park the "old girl", just not enough to build a structure without looking like a mish-mash. We have a double detached garage with an apartment above it. The two structures wouldn't play well together, lol.

Might be a good idea to consolidate into two threads at some point.
"Show us your Airstream Parking Spots"
(For threads like this one)
"Show us your Private Campgrounds"
(For threads more like this one - which have to do with "actual" campsites not at your primary place of residence or business)

I think even ballpark figures won’t be of much help to anyone for the following reasons:
These buildings often require some kind of infrastructure—a road, a building pad, trenched utilities, possibly a new meter or transformer, etc.
The costs vary greatly by region, construction type, and by manufacturer.
Everyone sets their buildings up differently. Mine has radiant heat, a bathroom, a few other interior rooms and a whole bunch of insulation. The monoslope roof added to the building cost due to the additional steel. My building also has exterior covered porches and is 54x88–way overkill for just airstream storage (it serves many purposes on the farm).
Lastly—this is an absolutely crazy year for construction. Lumber prices were 30-40% higher for a long time. All sorts of delays. I lucked out last year by signing the construction contract right after the lockdowns started happening (the manufacturer was trying to keep their best crews employed and greatly incented me to act quickly).
The best way to get a ballpark estimate is to call a company or individual that makes such buildings and give them a rough idea of what you want. I am a huge fan of postframe construction for all sorts of reasons, but timber frame barns are nice and easy to come by if you live in Amish country.
Hope this comes across as intended. Just saying there are many variables at work and the result of those on the approximate cost is not small. I’d hate for someone to get their hopes up or dash someone else’s. The best thing to do is make a list of the things you want (size, access, utilities, amenities) and get some approximate numbers that relevant to that.

Hi
I would second the "my numbers probably won't help" ....
Having done this sort of thing multiple times in industry, it is not uncommon to start out with a "concept" from somewhere at price X. After going through all of the issues and details that apply in your unique case the real price for the shell may be 1.5X or it could be 3X. It pretty much never comes in at <= X.

Agree with the others, definitely get your own quote….but for ballpark here is my tally so far.
$13500 for land
$15 to register deed
$115 for driveway permit
$2329 for driveway
$300 for LPEA site visit
$1023 for septic permit
$350 for soil test
$103 for well permit
$9000 for septic system
$5000 well deposit
$1450for septic design
$430 for PILC site plan
$664.75 for building permit
$6700 to Patrick for house garage deposit
$4,400 to Patrick to cover garage plan purchase
$650 Foundation plan
$750.84 for power connection
$44,500 for Patrick building
$115+$330 Patrick for permit and bldg overage
$5416.89 for remaining well
$3643.02 Joel for pump
$3129.69 for first half of garage doors as deposit
Building is 40 wide and 42 deep… went with Sunward Steel, garage door on left is 12wx14h and 10x10 on the right. Sliding patio doors in the back right, four 4*4 windows and a man door. Doors are now 14 week lead time due to covid. Steel price increased 15% after we signed the contract.
I’m laughing at the comment about taller doors, I intentionally chose the taller garage door for resale to a fifth wheeler, I’ve yet to see other airstreams in town.
Love the monoslope roofs! it was too expensive an option for my build.
