...and no tricks!

Our little town has trick or treating tonight. I took the 4 yo boy (BLUE Power Ranger) and the 6 yo girl (Cat, with whiskers and tail made from one of my old cloth belts) out for candy and we came back in time to unload quite a bit of our stash.

I am worried a little after reading some recent posts about damage to Airstreams on Halloween.

I hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable and uneventful Halloween.

Enjoy your 4 and 6 year old - your post brings back memories of when mine were that age - GREAT years lots of fun - they are now 14 and 18 - still lots of fun but they don't want to hang around us as much as they used to.

We used to run all over the neighborhoods - now they are on to their own parties - I offered to take them trick or treating - told them I would get dressed up - but they politely declined

Our 'baby' is almost 30, has a beautiful wife and now own their own home. They're having turkey chili and fixin's tomorrow night with treats for the trickers. We now get invited over and can be as silly as we wish! Only thing better is if we get grandchildren someday. It's cool getting older!

Halloween Moon?

We are located back in a heavily wooded lot about 300 ft. off the street. Once again we did not receive a single knock on the door. There are few kids in the neighborhood so we don't expect any. Who is going to walk down a 300 foot unlit driveway? Still, I dutifully buy a bag of candy just in case and my other half gets mad and says we don't need it. The Halloween I don't buy a bag will be the Halloween we'll get a trickster is my fear.
