First timer looking for tips...

Hi all,

I plan on living in my 1956 Flying Cloud this summer & I wondered if anyone that maybe has sat their Airstream on a piece of rural land (not a trailer park or campground) have any tips for me?
I know i need a tank for waste disposal so I've been looking into a "blue boy" for that since my camper didn't come with a tank for it.
Other than that, and getting the door and windows sealed, I'm not really sure what else i should be preparing for since I just bought the Airstream & I haven't had any chance to stay in it yet.

Any info would be appreciated.

Mike

If you are staying put for any length of time the traditional method of sewage disposal is to make a cesspit. Bury a 45 gallon drum with a few holes in it. Surround the drum with gravel and cover with dirt. This makes for sanitary disposal but make sure it is at least 100 yards from your well.
