This unit was removed from our
1967 Airstream
Sovereign International which we are in the process of renovating. It works great on electric, both fridge and freezer, ice cold. We were unable to check if it functions on propane but the previous owners said it worked.
In nice condition, considering its age. There is a little bit of rust on some outer parts (see pictures), but does not affect its integrity as a fridge. The freezer door seals tight, so does the fridge door. The pin lock is present, which is used to prevent door from opening while RV is in motion. Very easy to install, just hook up propane line (underneath unit near the front, by the temp control knobs), and plug unit into a 120v outlet.
We would have considered keeping this fridge had it been just a little bit bigger, with a larger freezer. We will be living in this airstream full-time and need a good sized fridge to store our food and our pets'.
