Bike rack for Cruiser bikes?

We are looking for a bike rack that would be compatible with our 04 vw Touareg and 25' AS. I would like to get a system that can hold 3 cruisers. I know there are roof rack systems available but am concerned it may affect gas mileage. Any suggestions would be great.

Greetings, the only options you have are:
A) Tie them down inside the AS
B) Put them on a roof rack
C) Install a hitch mount to the front of the TV and install a rack there.
I have seen all options done and we usually just put out two Mtn bikes inside out AS.

This is what I use.
I have the Air suspension on mine so I am able to lower the vehicle to loading level and put the bikes on easily.I really dont use it but it has been useful in times.
I really do like the airstream rack though.

To eliminate the rack problem we bought Dahon folding bikes. Just fold them up, and put them in the back of the TV.
