1965 nameplates

My Tradewind has faded Airstream nameplates on the roof, and the VIN plate near the door.

All the replacement ones i see are a vibrant blue. Even though mine are faded they look like they had a black or gray background.

Did they ever come in a color other than blue, or are they just REALLY degraded?

All our trailers have been quite old with old faded plates.

Have you gone to the archived airstream photos to see the various images of the original plates. They have trailer photos, and older promotional photos also.

These are original nameplates that do not appear to have been touched up all from 1965. They come from Vintageairstream.com
