I am looking at a new tow vehicle. Found a 2020 F350 Lariat on dealer lot but it’s out of state. Thinking about buying sight unseen since I’ve driven several similar trucks. My only concern is this truck is equipped with the snow plow package (heavier front springs and bigger alternator.). Does anyone have experience with the impact on towing and/or ride quality with the heavier front springs? I don’t plan on plowing snow!
I always order my Ford trucks with the snow plow option, the best bang for the buck option there is and I never plow snow.

About that flooring, forget carpet, select carpet delete...That was one of my favorite ordering options. No worries about mud, snow, spills or whatever on new carpet because there is none.
Find a dealer that will give you the X plan price, that's $500 over invoice less any incentives.

Any dealer should honor x-plan, and it's something like 1% under invoice and a fixed documentation fee. I went in planning to use x-plan but the dealer made an even better offer.

I have the camper package but not the snow plow prep. One of the bonuses about the snow plow springs is that it provides a more level look to the truck. More level than the lighter springs, but not completely level.

The harsher ride of the snow plow prep springs can be mitigated somewhat with better shocks (OEM sucks) and lower air pressure. You don't need the 60 PSI that is listed as the max on the door frame tag if all you're hauling is an Air Stream trailer. Rear tires can also be lowered.

I belonged to an X plan group. I did not use X plan, though. The dealer sold to me a few hundred dollars under the X plan pricing.

But I'd bet if you didn't mention the X plan, you wouldn't have gotten such a good deal. Admit it.

I really dont recall mentioning X plan. If I remember correctly, the dealer printed off a sheet that had AXZ plans plus invoice on it and gave me a copy. It was a no haggle or hassle sale.
