Yes, they are inexpensive and it would be very nice if they could be *found* when needed
The most basic answer ( in some cases ) is to use a cell phone. It comes out through the speakers in the truck and there's no push to talk to deal with. Not so useful with zero cell service. Again, the phone needs to be found and taken along ....
