Would anybody want my 1968 bathroom?

Hello Streamers -

I have removed the components of my 1968 Trade Wind. I'm not sure what to do with it all - sink, tub, walls - the toilet was stolen by a "repair" guy.

I will give it away for free if somebody could use it. For the long time Forum-ers, would you advise... Do people ever look for the old interior components?

Since it's 53 years old, I hate to throw it away if somebody could use it. Any advise would be appreciated.

Gracie

There are many people on here who prefer to renovate or I should say restore vintage airstreams as close to original as possible.

Some go with modern amenities or modern functions behind the walls.

You might contact some restorers to see if they have room in their inventory for some additional period correct pieces.

Thanks for asking!

I am in the middle of a restoration of a 68. Please keep me in mind before tossing anything. Right now I think my bath is okay but we will know more in the next week after the shell comes off.

I would love to see some pictures. The laundry cover that goes behind toilet would be awesome. Please semd pictures of what you have.

Oh, if you were closer and a month earlier. I am redoing a 68 Globetrotter. Everything is happening with built-ins.
Lots of demand.
